History of the Lily Dale Spiritualist Church

The Lily Dale Spiritualist Church was chartered on October 15, 1932. Services were held in various buildings on the grounds, until the Church on East Street was built and dedicated in 1961.

The Lily Dale Spiritualist Church is a member of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches, which was founded in 1893, and is recognized as the oldest, most respected Spiritualist organization in the United States.

We are recognized as a religion by the United States Government since November, 1893.
